2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create, operate, and maintain your account and the Services;

- With service providers: companies that help us operate the Services (hosting, analytics, email delivery, and customer support). These providers may access information only to perform tasks on our behalf and are contractually required to safeguard it.
- For legal reasons: when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of HAV, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred subject to standard confidentiality protections.

4. User-Generated Content and Community
HAV is a social application. Content you post publicly (including comments, votes, opinions, and replies) is visible to other users and may be viewed, copied, or shared by them. Please use discretion when posting personal information. We provide tools to report content, block users, and request removal — see Section 7.
5. Children's Privacy
The Services are intended for users 17 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction). If we learn we have collected information from a child without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it promptly. Contact us at support@hearamericasvoice.com if you believe a child has provided us information.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legitimate business or legal purposes.
7. Your Choices and Rights

- Regional rights: depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including the right to access, correct, port, or delete personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@hearamericasvoice.com.
8. Security
We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS), restricted access, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International Users
